When Is March Madness 2019?

March Madness 2019 takes place from Tuesday 19 March to Monday 8 April.

Selection Sunday will happen on Sunday 17th March. The First Four will take place on the 19th and 20th March, with the First and Second Rounds occurring between 21st and the 24th of the month.

Who Will Play In March Madness 2019?

March Madness starts off with Selection Sunday. Here, the selection committee will reveal all 68 teams who will participate in this year’s tournament.

March Madness consists of 67 games played in a 19 day period. How does it work? Each game will result in a winner and a loser. The winner progresses to the next round, while the loser goes home, missing out on the chance to win the Championship.

The Regionals take place, along with the Sweet 16, Elite 8 and Final Four Stages. The last two teams standing will then play each other for the Championship taking place on 8 April.

The US Bank Stadium in Minneapolis will host the Final Four stage and National Championship game.
